Who we are . . .

The "Vancouver USA Singers" is a community choir, based in Vancouver, Washington, USA. The choir was established 40 years ago as "The Brahms Singers" and changed it's name several years ago, to better represent the variety of music we sing. We currently have over 80 voices, both men and women. Membership in the group is by audition. 

What we sing . . .

We sing and perform all types of choral music and generally put on two main concerts a year in Vancouver, each with a different theme or type of music. We also perform a number of Christmas concerts and an annual cabaret/musical review.

For the cabarets, members of the choir perform solos, duets, ensembles, comic acts, and full choir numbers. Although started as a fund raising experiment, these shows have become very popular and always sell out even though we've increased the number of performances of each cabaret.

Where we've been . . .

The group's 2000 Concert tour to Great Britain marked the seventh overseas tour with previous tours to Germany in 1997,   Great Britain in 1974, 1977, 1982 and 1992 and to Holland and the Scandinavian countries in 1985. The choir has also traveled to Ireland, the Isle of Man. Hawaii, Victoria and Vancouver, BC in Canada.
